Ismail Serinken was born in Weinheim, Germany in the year 1971. He graduated with a degree in Korean Language and Literature. His first book, Talking With God on the Way Back Home was made into a movie. He is a translator, television programmer, and international speaker. He is married and lives in Ankara, Turkey with his three children.
